2 Great Poker Brat Blow Ups

You have to love Phil Hellmuth, the number one poker brat. Having won the most WSOP bracelets ever and being a member of the Poker Hall of Fame, Hellmuth is undoubtedly a truly fantastic poker player – he also happens to be the number one poker brat!

But don’t take our word for it, we have two classic videos of Hellmuth acting like a baby. The first takes place at the World Series of Poker and occurs as a result of Hellmuth being subjected to a bad beat on the river card:

Next up, Hellmuth loses the plot on Poker After Dark. When trying to make an important decision on an all-in call, chatter picks up around the table which launches Hellmuth into a tirade over poker etiquette.

He kind of has a point on the last one, but you still have to love the outbursts! Perhaps if he was getting a decent rakeback, he may not be so mad!

Online Poker has been available on Macs for years, Full Tilt Poker for one has been available on that specific platform, but this site does offer the ability to get the whole picture, what rooms can they choose from, and what are the best offers available.

On discovering which rooms are available, be sure to sign up to your favourite poker room via Rake the Rake to receive percentage rakeback deals of up to 60%.

Online Poker Tips for Dummies

Playing poker online is a luxury not known in other professional games and sports. Where else can you compete against the best professionals in the world on equal footing than in a poker tournament?

But your poker career could turn sour quickly unless you exercise caution; the following tips have been compiled to keep you at the table and out of debt:

  1. Analyse the table before taking a seat – make sure you study the players in any given poker room before you take a seat to play to see the quality of the players and their style of play.

  2. Stake size – the size of the stake is indicative of two things; the likely skill level of the players at that table and the amount of cash you could lose – so be cautious, and play within your means.

  3. Fake cash first – many online poker rooms offer the choice to play for real or fake cash. It is a good idea to hone your skills using the fake cash option first, but remember, people in fake cash games will play differently to those in real cash rooms as with fake cash rooms, the only thing at stake is a player's pride!

  4. Learn your outs and odds can mean survival and ultimately – victory. Knowing when to fold is a valuable tool to have in your locker.

  5. Find the best deals. Many online poker rooms will offer free entry into tournaments. You can also seek rakeback deals to get a percentage back from the rake you accumulate.

These basic guidelines should set you on the right path, but remember, play within your means and don’t risk what you can’t afford to lose. Good luck!
